Over the years, Fonzu l-Fenek has been invited to schools around Malta and Gozo and attended public events, ranging from Farmers’ Markets to Special Days (e.g. Animal Awareness Day, Saving our Blue Campaign, World Environment Day and World Food Day). He is often accompanied by one or more of his friends: Miċu l-Qattus, Lola n-Nannakola, and Benna l-Baqra. Suzanne regularly leads these edutainment sessions which are vehicles for teaching and learning about healthy, sustainable lifestyles, together with values such as inclusivity, responsibility, respect for others and the stewardship of nature, in a fun way. The colourful mascots sing and dance to the popular and educational tunes written and composed by Michael. 

These include: 

• Fonzu l-Fenek (Fonzu the Rabbit) – Promoting healthy lifestyles. 

• Miċu l-Qattus (Miċu the Cat) – Promoting physical activity and sports. 

• Lola n-Nannakola (Lola the Ladybird) – Promoting love of travel and curiosity. 

• Benna l-Baqra (Benna the Cow) – Promoting reading of books. 

• Ħaxix u Frott (Fruit & Veg) – Promoting fresh vegetables and fruits. 

• Inħobb Naħsel Idejja (I Love to Wash My Hands) – Launched during Covid. 

• Ġej il-Milied (Christmas is Coming) – A seasonal favourite.
